APPROACH
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, compassion, acceptance, and my Christian faith. I believe every person has inherent value and a unique story that deserves to be heard without judgment. My goal is to meet you where you are, build a trusting therapeutic relationship, and provide a safe place where you can honestly explore the challenges you are facing.
I take a holistic and integrative approach to counseling, tailoring evidence-based therapeutic techniques to the unique needs, circumstances, and goals of each client. I recognize that emotional, relational, physical, cultural, and spiritual factors can all play meaningful roles in a person’s well-being, and I strive to consider the whole person throughout the therapeutic process.
As a Christian counselor, I am especially passionate about integrating faith into therapy for clients who desire it. Christian counseling can provide space to explore not only emotional and relational concerns, but also questions of faith, purpose, hope, and spiritual well-being. When appropriate and welcomed by the client, I incorporate biblical principles, Scripture, and prayer alongside professional counseling approaches. I believe psychological insight and Christian faith can work together to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and pursue meaningful growth.
One of the messages I most hope to communicate is that there is Living Hope. Difficult circumstances, painful experiences, and seasons of uncertainty can leave us feeling lost or discouraged, but I believe God remains present in those seasons. My desire is to walk alongside you with compassion and patience as you seek healing, discover purpose, and move toward greater emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.
