“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39

BACKGROUND
Casey Buller is a board-registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from California Baptist University. Before his master’s degree at CBU, Casey earned a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology from William Jessup University in Sacramento.
As a therapist trainee, Casey worked at CBU’s counseling center with a general population of young-adult to middle-aged students in undergrad, graduate, and doctoral programs. During this time he gained experience working with a wide array of issues, including neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, and much more. Casey has experience with identity-building work through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma recovery using EMDR, and exploring past experiences with psychodynamic therapy.
APPROACH
My therapeutic approach involves a foundational process of building a strong clinical relationship with my clients based on trust, mutual respect, and deep compassion. Through this we can explore together the experiences, pains, and joys of an individual’s past to identify patterns in areas of growth. Simultaneously, I use DBT to help clients build the identity and skills they need to be their full and best selves.
It is my greatest joy to step into the sacred place of an individual’s heart and to learn and experience the incredible story God has given them. So many of us are faced with vast challenges in life and feel stuck or powerless in our current situations. Being a therapist means I get to make sure my clients do not have to walk alone through life’s challenges and can take steps toward the freedom they deserve.
