“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

Joshua 1:9

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

Psalm 55:22

I believe that even in life’s most difficult seasons, we have the capacity to grow, heal, and discover strength we may not have known we possessed. My years of serving alongside individuals and families facing adversity have taught me the importance of compassion, courage, faith, and hope. It is a privilege to encourage others as they develop resilience, gain insight, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

APPROACH

The approach I bring to clinical supervision is rooted in the belief that every person possesses inherent worth, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Throughout my clinical career, I have sought to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices with a compassionate, relationship-centered approach, recognizing that meaningful change occurs through trust, collaboration, and intentional self-reflection. My clinical work emphasizes identifying personal strengths, developing practical coping strategies, improving communication and relationships, and fostering emotional well-being.

Throughout my career, I have also been passionate about mentoring and developing others. I enjoy supporting and guiding emerging clinicians as they develop their professional identity, clinical judgment, and confidence. I believe effective supervision and consultation cultivate ethical practice, clinical excellence, and lifelong learning.

As a clinical supervisor, my goal is to help associates build insight, confidence, and sound clinical judgment while honoring the unique experiences, values, and goals of the clients they serve. My background as a clinician, military chaplain, and Christian counselor also allows me to support associates in thoughtfully integrating faith and spirituality into therapy when desired and appropriate for the client.
