“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, ad I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

APPROACH
My therapeutic approach is centered in CBT and solution-focused therapy (SFT). However, I believe that each client’s experiences and perspectives are unique to them, and, therefore, my therapy room provides a holistic, collaborative, and tailored approach to treatment. As a therapist, it is my responsibility to provide evidence-based techniques that are applicable for each client’s needs, comfortability, and background.
The root of my passion is to make a positive impact on my clients’ lives, whether big or small. It is a privilege to be welcomed into the mountains and valleys of one’s life. As a therapist, this is a privilege that I do not take for granted. Connection with others is one of the most vital parts of the human experience. As a mental health provider, it is an honor to get to know clients for who they are beyond their struggles. It is especially rewarding, then, when through therapeutic work, clients also begin to see themselves as more than their struggles. Trust, honesty, and transparency are what I believe to be the main ingredients for a successful therapeutic relationship and overall experience. I strive to maintain and foster these throughout my work.
My overall goal is to empower my clients in the hopes that it blooms a new sense of hope, confidence, and understanding with them. We are all the experts of our own lives, but sometimes it is necessary to lean on those around us when difficulties arise. That is exactly what therapy is for: a tool for clients to utilize when faced with overwhelming seasons of life.
Also, please know that upon your request, I would be pleased to incorporate faith-based, Christian counseling into your sessions.
