BACKGROUND

Ethan Menard is a board-certified Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Art degree from Hope International University. Before HIU, he earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vanguard University, where he also served in his church.

Ethan specializes in working with individuals and families. His previous experience includes working with the underserved population struggling with grief and loss, and issues surrounding divorce, depression, and anxiety.

Ethan has also served in leadership at his church, specifically in youth ministry, which is his passion. He was also a camp counselor for three years at Royal Family KIDS Camp, a camp for abused and neglected children.

APPROACH

My therapeutic approach is centered around attachment and CBT, along with play therapy when working with children. I am also certified in EMDR. I want to create a safe space for you as I walk with you toward healing. I am passionate about helping you take the next step in your journey toward becoming whole. I view therapy as a tool that people can use if they need it, and by accepting the need for help, you have taken the first step toward healing. I have seen the impact of therapy and specifically the power of God’s Word incorporated into it, resulting in a true experience of freedom afterward. Upon request, I would be happy to incorporate prayer and the Bible in our sessions.
